Replatforming from WordPress to Shopify for Baccus, with integrated B2C and B2B operations, Sage ERP integration, UX/UI defined in Figma and a scalable foundation for digital growth.

Baccus is a Portuguese brand specialising in shirts that chose to evolve its digital operations through a complete replatforming from WordPress to Shopify. The project delivered by Basicamente aimed to unify B2C and B2B operations within a single platform, ensuring greater operational control, scalability and efficiency.

The new digital ecosystem enables the management of end customers and resellers from the same technological foundation, maintaining distinct yet fully integrated experiences.

Strategic replatforming from WordPress to Shopify

The replatforming to Shopify included the full migration of catalogue, customers and historical data, as well as the definition of new checkout, billing and order management workflows. This process followed a structured approach to Shopify replatforming, ensuring operational continuity and the preservation of critical data.

This transition reduced technical complexity, increased platform stability and created a solid foundation for the brand’s digital growth across both direct-to-consumer and professional channels.

Integration with Sage ERP and B2B platform

Integration with Sage ERP ensures automatic synchronisation of stock, pricing, customer data and invoicing, eliminating redundancies and reducing operational errors. This connection follows a logic of ERP and critical systems integration, essential for operations with multiple sales channels.

A custom B2B platform was also developed within the Shopify ecosystem, enabling resellers to access exclusive commercial terms, personalised pricing and dedicated ordering processes, aligned with a complex B2B e-commerce model.

Omnichannel experience with clarity-driven UX/UI

The navigation experience was defined through UX/UI studies in Figma, designed to serve two distinct audiences — end consumers and professional partners — while maintaining a visual identity aligned with the brand’s positioning. This work followed principles of e-commerce-focused UX/UI design.

The design prioritises clarity, speed and ease of use, ensuring a seamless experience across desktop and mobile devices.
